Semih Akcomak is a researcher at TEKPOL-METU, Middle East Technical University, Ankara. He previously worked at the CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis and Department of Economics and UNU-MERIT, Maastricht University. He holds a PhD degree in economics from Maastricht University. His research interests are economics of technical change, applied economics, human and social capital and labour market outcomes. For the NSI framework, Semih conducts research on the globalization theme, specifically the labour market effects of globalization both at the macro and micro level.
