Sjir Uitdewilligen is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience of Maastricht University. He has a background in both economics and psychology. Sjir has been a PhD candidate at the department of Organization and Strategy of the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics and holds master degrees in both Economics (International Management) and Applied Cognitive Psychology. In his research he applies psychological constructs and theories to explain organizational phenomena. His current research focuses on cognitive structures and processes, routine development, and adaptation in teams as well as in systems consisting of multiple teams.
