After his graduation Tom started working for the Department of Organization & Strategy as a junior lecturer. During his time as a lecturer, his research interests surfaced again. This resulted in his decision to extent his stay in Maastricht by applying for the position of PhD candidate at the Department of Organization & Strategy. As of September 2010 Tom is working as a PhD candidate. His current research focuses on team performance and related team dynamics, specifically team conflict. He is also active in the development of a team-monitoring system for an external organization.
